Es ist vollbracht! Abtswinds zweite Garde hat die ersten Punkte der Saison 2018/2019 eingefahren. Gingen die beiden Auftaktbegegnungen noch mehr als unglücklich verloren, obgleich man fußballerisch deutliche Vorteile hatte, war die Partie in Volkach von der Angst einer weiteren Niederlage geprägt. Dies traf aber nicht nur auf die Truppe von Friedrichsberg zu, sondern auch auf die von der Mainschleife, denn beide Mannschaften standen bei null Punkten. Am Ende verdienten sich die Abtswinder aber die ersten Zähler auf dem Tableau.
